Pure Hearing Aids

The Pure hearing aid from Siemens is one of the newest hearing aids available. The Pure hearing aid is often referred to as an open-fit, or receiver-in-the-canal hearing aid. It is called open-fit because the tip that fits in the ear canal is usually perforated so the patient's ear does not feel occluded. The tips are very soft and the hearing aids are so light that most people comment that they forget they have them in their ears. The Pure aids are rechargeable so the user does not have to fumble with the tiny batteries. A remote control is also available so people can make adjustments to the volume and change programs discretely.
